Ken Bibby is a fully certified Ski Guide through the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG). He is also a professional member of the Canadian Avalanche Association (CAA) and an ACMG Backpacking Guide.
Ken got his start in the guiding industry at Purcell Lodge in 1999. Since then, he's worked full-time doing a combination of instructional, ski touring, helicopter and cat skiing work. In addition to his professional experience, Ken has been wandering around the mountains since he was old enough to walk.
He is currently a course leader and curriculum specialist in the CAA Industry Training Programs, sits on the CAA/CAC board of directors as the Chair of the Membership Committee and will be guiding for Monashee Powder Snowcats.
Ken has an infectious enthusiasm and a profound passion for sharing the mountains of Western Canada - the wild and remote places that he has called home for most of his adult life - with his guests. He now lives in Revelstoke with his wife, Kim and their 3 young boys: Shea, Cole and Owen.
Ken shifts gears during the Summer months and spends his time running his concrete countertop business, Touchstone Concrete Designs.
